There is increasing pressure to unionize staff in senior housing communities at all levels; Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing and CCRCs. The National Labor Relations Board continues to enact new rules that are designed to create an unfair playing field that is highly disadvantageous to operators and highly advantageous to union organizers. A bill has been introduced in the House of Representatives to restore balance.
