I have attended the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) annual meeting every year for the last 5 years. This is the one big national conference that has just never felt very productive for me. Not the fault of the organization, but I know fewer people and have a harder time networking . . . it is hard and frustrating, because I am usually better than that.
